The Winchester SXP Shadow Defender is a purpose-built pump-action tactical shotgun chambered in 20 Gauge with a compact 18-inch barrel and 3-inch chamber, making it a natural fit for home defense and close-quarters use.
Built around a slim aluminum receiver finished in matte black, the SXP Shadow Defender pairs an 18-inch matte steel barrel with Winchester’s proven pump-action design for reliable cycling. A tubular magazine holds 5+1 rounds of 20 Gauge shells, and a simple brass bead front sight provides fast target acquisition in defensive situations.
The pistol-grip synthetic stock keeps the shooter’s hand close to the action for improved control in tight spaces. The non-glare black composite stock features a textured grip surface, a 13.75-inch length of pull, an overall length of 38.5 inches, and a weight of approximately 6.5 pounds unloaded. The 3-inch chamber accepts both 2.75-inch and 3-inch 20 Gauge shells for maximum versatility.
