Description
The Winchester Wildcat Sporter SR is a semi-automatic rimfire rifle built around a blowback-operated action and chambered in the ever-popular .22 LR. Tuned for plinking, small-game hunting, and casual sport shooting, the Sporter SR (Suppressor Ready) trims the standard 18″ barrel down to a handy 16.5″ chrome-moly steel tube that is threaded at the muzzle for a suppressor or muzzle device, giving the rifle a compact, well-balanced feel.
The matte blued finish on the barrel and receiver keeps glare down at the range, while a satin-finished Grade 1 walnut stock delivers the classic look and feel Winchester has built its rimfire reputation on. A precision-adjusted rear ghost-ring sight and a ramped post front sight are installed from the factory, and the receiver is drilled and tapped with an integrated optics rail for easy red-dot or scope mounting. The ambidextrous receiver accommodates both right- and left-handed shooters.
Feeding through a classic 10/22-style 10-round detachable magazine (one included), the Wildcat Sporter SR delivers reliable semi-automatic performance and is easy to maintain. It measures 34.75″ overall with a 14″ length of pull, weighs approximately 4 lbs 4 oz, and features a 1:16″ rate of twist. Two Allen wrenches are included for quick field adjustments.
