The XS Sight Systems Standard Dot is a self-illuminated tritium night sight designed as a direct replacement front sight for Taurus Model 856 and Taurus Model 605 revolvers equipped with a factory-pinned front sight.
The sight body is machined from steel and houses a tritium lamp at the center of a convex white dot, creating a high-contrast aiming point that draws the eye to the front sight for fast, intuitive alignment.
