The Yankee Hill Machine YHM-3080-W Crush Washer is a 5/8″ crush washer designed for installing flash hiders, muzzle brakes, and compensators on .308/7.62 AR-pattern rifles. It is the correct indexing washer for AR-10/LR-308 barrels threaded 5/8×24 in the .308/7.62 family.
Machined from 12L14 steel with a corrosion-resistant black oxide finish, this washer is Made in the USA to YHM’s standard. When the muzzle device is torqued down, the crush washer deforms slightly to create the proper shim gap, orienting your device and locking it in place against recoil without over-torquing the barrel shoulder.
Use the YHM-3080-W to install any YHM flash hider, muzzle brake, or compensator, or any other 5/8×24 muzzle device, on a .308/7.62 AR rifle.
