The Yankee Hill Machine Phantom Comp/Flash Hider delivers combined compensator and flash-hider performance in a compact .308 Winchester package. Machined from 4140 steel and finished in a corrosion-resistant black oxide coating, this aggressive-cut model threads onto any barrel with 5/8×24 threads and weighs just 2 oz.
The 5-port Phantom design routes expanding gases to mitigate muzzle rise and felt recoil while keeping flash signature to a minimum, and with no downward-facing port the unit won’t kick up dust when shooting from the prone position. Aggressive toothed endcuts give the muzzle a distinctive, rugged profile that sets this version apart from the smooth-cut sibling.
Measuring 2 1/4 in. long with an outside diameter of 0.864 in., the Phantom mounts cleanly on any .308 barrel threaded in 5/8×24. A crush washer is included for proper timing against the barrel shoulder, so installation is a simple install-shim-and-tighten job.
