The Yankee Hill Machine YHM-24-A is a low-profile flash hider built for AR-15 platform rifles chambered in 5.56mm and .223 Remington. Its 4-port direct-thread design is engineered to eliminate up to 99% of visible muzzle flash, preserving the shooter’s night vision and reducing signature during low-light and rapid-fire use.
Constructed from 4140 steel with a corrosion-resistant Melonite QPQ finish, the YHM-24-A keeps a slim 0.735″ diameter profile that tucks neatly under most standard handguards and free-float rails. The unit measures 2.225″ overall, adds only 1.75″ to the host barrel, and weighs just 1.8 oz. The 1/2×28 thread pitch matches the standard interface used on most 5.56mm AR-15 barrels.
Installation is straightforward using the included low-profile crush washer, allowing proper timing and a clean shoulder fit against the barrel. Like all Yankee Hill Machine muzzle accessories, the YHM-24-A is manufactured in the USA to tight tolerances for consistent fit and function.
